KHAIRPUR: Newly elected members of the Officers Welfare Association (OWA), Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, took oath for their respective offices at the university on Tuesday. Muhammad Tahir Khan, Chairman, Sindh Universities Officers Federation (SUOF), administrated the oath to the newly elected members of the OWA. Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Tahir Khan said that officers should not divert their energies from the betterment of institutions. He announced that countrywide officer welfare associations would be framed to solve genuine and legal problems of the officers. OWA President Muhammad Murad Pirzada and General Secretary Nazir Ahmed Mangnejo also spoke on this occasion and assured the members that they would protect the legitimate rights of the officers.
